Relationship
Jayweb usually works on one or possibly two projects at a time thereby ensuring a close customer working relationship.

Specification and Contracts
After initial contact and depending upon the size of the project a meeting would usually be arranged to discuss the overall business requirement.

A specification document will be drawn up and on agreement by all parties a contract signed.

Most commonly any website project will be developed to an agreed schedule and Jayweb provides a breakdown of all work recorded in a spreadsheet on a weekly basis. Work is transfered to a 'staging' area for inspection and typically an invoice will be raised at the end of each month.

When you are satisfied that the work meets your requirement and on payment of any outstanding invoice the website or development work would then be promoted to the 'live' system.

Maintenance contracts work on a similar basis with the exceptiion that, where specified, if new web content needs to go live immediately then the interim staging process can be skipped.
